WHO THE HELL IS IN CHARGE?

I am sitting here, watching the Texas evacuees heading out of town, fleeing the incoming hurricane, Ms Rita.

Four and sometimes six lanes of outgoing traffic, crawling along, over-heating, running out of gas and patience as well.

As the camera pans left, I see the other side of the median strip and its four and sometimes six inbound lanes. All lanes EMPTY.

Do any of these evacuation planners, local or state officials have a freaking clue?

My god -- Open up the INBOUND lanes for OUTGOING traffic.

I can't take it anymore. If I was a terrorist I would not need any weapons. Not mass destruction weapons nor minimal destruction weapons. All I need to do is start a rumor and get Anytown, USA to evacuate. The people will kill themselves, trying to follow some lame ass evacuation plan, put in place by idiots who have no idea what the word disaster means.

UNNECESSARY OFFICIATING

Completely uncalled for -- These NFL officials at the Atlanta vs Philadelphia game should be silenced.

The officials should not have any bearing on any game, before it even starts.

Policing the teams, prior to the kickoff, should be the sole responsibility of the coaches, their staff and event security. Not game officials.
