THE PROPHET

With fatidic clarity we see the following scenario unfolding --

WEEK 8: PITT at home takes out undefeated NE
WEEK 9: PITT at home takes out undefeated Philly
WEEK 10: PITT on the road gets taken out by Cleveland

As most of you know, we have a penchant for NOT stepping in front of a team on any kind of streak. By doing so, one can only win ONE wager, but lose many.

You are also well aware of the fact that we don't usually wager on NFL dogs in hopes they will cover the spread in a S/U losing effort. If we select a dog in the NFL it is because we firmly believe they will win the game S/U.

With all that being said, we still want the 3 points which are currently being offered to Pitt at home vs the Pats.

PITT +3 over NE

Pitt has waited for this shot for 112 weeks Two full seasons and eight long weeks

As some of you may remember, the last time Pitt faced NE was back on Week 1, of the 2002 season on MNF. They got smacked down in that back-to-back
(two different season) rematch, 14-30.

The were playing that game as -2.5 pt faves and with MAJOR revenge for a humiliating, playoff eliminating, Super Bowl denying, season crushing, home defeat as a DD HF, 17-24. We shall see if patience indeed is a virtue.
----------- ------------ ---------- ----------------
PITT: 18-4 vs T's passing for 7+ yds/attempt
PITT: 17-4 vs T's winning 75+ % of their G's
PITT: has covered 80% of their HG's L12 yrs off 4+ S/U W's
PITT: 12-0 S/U if they completed 73+ % of their passes LG

NE will be making just their second road trip since Sept 19, six long weeks ago. They are also coming off three straight home games.

NE: 3-3 S/U after a div HW
NE: 3-6 S/U on R if total is 42.5 to 49 (1-4 if 42.5 to 45)

Play against any NFL RF (NE) if they are coming off a S/U HW and their opp this week (Pitt) is coming off a S/U W as a dog.
(36-12 L10 yrs) (75%) (31-17 S/U
